Procedure

 

It will be a master planned community.

The land will be a case study by presenting it to students

under the direction of their respective departments who

want to invest ideals and challenge students from every department to carefully,

thoughtfully, and masterfully plan and design their own concept of CASA Village

This will also be a competition. To increase the vision,

students from all over country  and internationally can be involved and assist with this as well.

This will be a volunteer project. There will be rewards for the winners in the future.

It is a noble idea if Deans will consider implementing this project as part of the curriculum.

 

CASA Village will contain art exhibitions, explore art, promote arts

and cultural activities, use permanent and temporary cultural and

public art, educate, it will be a safe and relaxing environment,

green use of all material & thinking , unique, eclectic, hi-tech,

child friendly, a haven for people, a happy place,

a lively socially interactive community, stock holding and shares,

a trust for the less fortunate, security.

Design Approach

the buildings will be designed aesthetically, architecturally rich,

the buildings will be designed for the scale and comfort of people

and will contain universally accessible spaces, easy road access to

and from CASA Village, alternative transportation choices

to those who do not drive, especially the young, elderly and

physically challenged, reducing travel times and increasing personal time,

reduced vehicular requirements for the region,

 

residents and employees can take care of many daily activities

without having to drive-reducing the demands on external road networks,

high quality water and waste water services through responsible,

sustainable and innovative stewardship of resources,

everything will be built to green standards, quality building materials,

there will be alternative energy sources, high speed internet, website,

year round active and passive recreational opportunities,

transitions to neighboring properties, provide a greenbelt adjacent

to the country and regional road networks, community activities and

participation on a year-round basis, sub-regional utilities infrastructure

system to benefit the greater MD, community which reflects the needs

of future generations, development to incur in progressive stages

that reflects density and associated activity to ensure a healthy and

strong (viable and sustainable community for generations to come,

establish framework for community governance)

theatre, health facility, spa and salon, exercise room, games room,

market, international food kiosks, performing arts, live music, art gallery,

stores that relate to all arts that will allow artists from all fields

to sell their art on site, art store, art bank, museum, candy store,

all who are involved with project engraved in them.
