  DEBORAH COPITHORNE

Calgary - Alberta - Canada

Nov. - 1964

My friend Deborah is truly an amazing woman.

She picks up her phone on the third ring and says” Hi! Knew it had to be you!”

This may surprise readers some, but Deborah and I have never met in person,

despite being brought together through our artistic endeavors. Although she lives in Alberta, Canada

and I in India, we are both part of a global art movement – Deborah is the co-founder of CASA or Care and Share Art ,

the brainchild of Abed Malhas, noted Jordanian artist, architect and inventor,

which endeavors to stage an Art Olympics reminiscent of de Coubertin’s dream as well as

initiate a traveling art exhibition which is to commence, in good time, at the Louvre. Numbering

(450 artists from 82 countries & growing )around the globe, it is the effort of the movement to

co-opt the support of artists from every country on Mother Earth, the proceeds of whose donated artwork

shall then be used to fund charitable purposes!

However, to get back to Deborah. I ask her how she’s feeling this morning.

She replies with total peace in her voice that she is thankful to be alive and that the birds are singing ,

the sun is shining and that she is grateful to the Maker for all the beauty in life.

This Western Canadian fine artist, whose work may be found on display in many galleries

around the world (www.artevo.com)and whose skills are privately commissioned internationally,

has battled with death and emerged from a stage of paralysis whence she could not hold a brush or

a pot of paint to a woman who today who drives her way around Alberta on her own and

who has mothered 4 children from infancy to adulthood.

Deborah’s foray into art began as a child from the moment she developed the strength and

skill to hold a crayon. Nonetheless, art is not something she ventured into by choice-

having been diverted form what I believe is her true calling by material needs-only to revert back to painting when all else failed.

As one doctor recently put it to her, the only thing that has kept Deborah alive up to the present time is her art.

Deborah recollects a time when she was emerging from a personal conflict and was

told to get a life of her own. She started out on a limousine business with a police officer

which led her to the fateful accident left her battling for the use of her limbs for 8 years.

I listen as she says:”The day before this accident took place, I had a dream in the middle

of the night that my daughter Bailey was giving me a black dress with a black rose emerging from my bellybutton.

The next day I woke up and prayed to God to not take my life. I got a call from the cop saying

that he wanted me to take some high-end clients out. I remember deciding to wear snow

suit-although no limousine chauffeur wears a snow suit when they’re on duty””

At the end of the evening, she was told, against her instincts to take back her high-end Italian

clients back to their residences by the police officer who insisted that she do so against

her fearful protests. Deborah recalls driving around wondering which route to take which

ended her with narrowly escape driving into a wall when a drugged out young lady in a black

Camero came crashing into her. By the time the incident was over, and the ambulance was

called for Deborah’s high end clients, Deborah herself was injured and out in the cold

while cops in two patrol cars sat in their vehicles, not even asking a shaken Deborah to the

shelter and warmth of their automobiles. She remembers praying to God to not take her life

because her children needed her and had no one else. Since then, Deborah has been in and

out of medical care, but states that even eminent doctors have not been able to come up with diagnosis or remedies.

She speaks about those trying years when only hope of her art and prayers to her Saviour

helped her regain the use of her limbs again. She recollects coming across the mail of Mr. Abed Malhas

inviting her to be a part of CASA, which embraces all of life –both the beautiful and ugly

( for there is beauty in dissonance)- and which tolerates both believer and skeptic alike

and upon speaking to Mr. Malhas on the phone states that she had total peace, knowing,

that God had finally shown her the way.

Well, that was three years ago and in that span of time, Deborah’s hard work and selfless

toil and devotion has led her to be the co-founder of CASA so as to enable her to serve humanity better.

Indeed, it is on 160 acres of her land in Alberta that plans are afoot to commence a

CASA Village with the help of trained architects and students alike to create a haven for artists,

which will have all facilities and amenities such as schools, hospitals, housing for the ailing ,

infirm and elderly, its own transport systems , recreational facilities and outlets for all forms of culture and the arts.

Deborah is truly a woman of substance and someone I feel who is worthy of mention in the global arena.

Her advice to other women is to not give into wilful oppression but to take up arms in non-violent protest against all injustice

My name is Deborah Copithorne. I am a Western Canadian Fine Artist.
These ideas are to enhance love, help the less fortunate around the globe ,
help protect the environment, enhance world peace, tolerance, co-operation,
understanding, acceptance, confidence, recognition, human rights, cultural enrichment, global coherence.

I have been working with the President’s and Deans from Universities,
and Colleges involving challenging the students to carefully plan and design
160 acres of land that will open the way for this whole mission.
We are also in stages of gathering Artists from 243 countries around the world
who are interested in donating one or more of their art works to CASA.
CASA will be a global touring art exhibition and with the goal as a permanent event.
Each Artist who participates receives their own artist number and serial number
The art work will be part of a permanent collection. If the art sells to the buyer,
the condition is to donate the proceeds to any legitimate charity of their own choice.
Please note that because it is very early, we are not collecting art at this point.
We will inform everyone regarding these details at a future time.
We are hoping to begin the CASA Exhibition in Paris. When? It is still early at
these stages to give a specific date right now. There is huge work to be done.
We are looking for Artists, Supporters and Sponsors. If you would like to participate,
simply contact me Co - Founder CASA
or the Founder of CASA.
CASA will initiate the Nobel Prize for Children and the Art Olympic equivalent to the Sport Olympic.
This has never been accomplished in the face of history.
All humanity will benefit from all of this. CASA will make a lasting impression.
CASA is clearly wanting to shed light to the many facets of CASA’S character and on the aim of its work.
CASA is wanting to give life to all people and the environment.
With this mission no one has anything to lose.
Please note that I am open to your comments, insight, suggestions and any questions.
I appreciate a reply from you any time.

I remain.
Sincerely,

Raphael Louis

- Leader/Prime Minister of Canada Candidate

Raphael Louis grew up within a political environment in Haiti, where his distinguished family members and relatives held prestigious and influential government positions through public service institutions. Throughout his teenage years of secondary school education, his life was impacted by various socio-cultural, religious and political phenomena within the Haitian society as he became inspired to write and co-produce a 90 minutes documentary movie entitled “The Mirror That Kills” while he was working at a local television station.

He arrived in the United States of America (U.S.A) in May of 1992 seeking political asylum following a series of life threatening incidents in Haiti for having produced the documentary, and shortly after, he immigrated to Canada in September of 1993 as a refugee-claimant. Raphael Louis was unanimously accepted by the United Nations (UN) International Refugee Tribunal in 1994 after a high level panel of Judges reviewed his refugee claim, and granted him refugee status. Since then, Raphael Louis has been in Political Exile.

Considering Raphael Louis socio-political and judicial adversities and challenges he faced, which began in the late 1990 as he experienced various sort of inequities and imbalances within the academic, labour, corporate, and privates sectors for which he has not only gained insightful knowledge of socio-political issues affecting the Canadian multilevel societies, but has developed the brilliance, intelligence, magnetism, charisma and most appealing the personal characteristics of a true visionary national and world Leader.

Raphael Louis leadership credibility is recognizable through his accomplishments as a published author/writer, radio show host, international public speaker, government and non-profit expert, recipient of a University of Ottawa (International House) Honorary degree, interviewed numerous international celebrities through his radio show and monthly published e-newsletter, and has delivered various speeches, contributed to numerous national and international organizations, assisting in their founding documents writing their structural plans.

He has also coached many non-profit organizations leaders, and published a list of Case Studies through a period of extensive research study of the European Union (EU), the United Nations (UN) and other World Institutions, and has successfully completed various higher education training certification programs through the United Nations (UN).

He is also the Founder/Leader of the Civil Rights Party of Canada, a federal political party committed to keeping Canada safe with a mission to expand opportunity for every Canadian Citizens regardless of country of origin, country of birth, gender, age, social status, or corporate status.

What we have for his leadership experiences is that Raphael Louis' political achievements are notably perceivable throughout the creation of the Federal Association for the Advancement of Visible Minorities (FAAVM Canada) in 2002; which is a national and international Civil and Human Rights non-profit and charitable organization, working nationally and internationally to advance minorities' rights, and also working as an international, federal, and Interprovincial government lobbyist.

Raphael Louis has also launched the “Canada Civil Rights Act of 2003“, an important legislative project, which reflects the input of an inter-disciplinary cross-cultural research evidence and analysis within the local and national communities. He has also skilfully dealt with various multi-government institutions such as the Senate, the House of Commons nationwide and worldwide.

We now realize that Raphael Louis is incontestably an accomplished and experienced leader, and qualified Prime Minister Candidate with the touch of style and manner of a genuine politician, combined with the evidence of real passion, and natural bond that connect him with the aspirations of an entire people and nation and the rest of the world.
